5-STAR FINGER LICKIN’ PRISON DINNER

Making your way down chow, walking fast, trying too skip them fowl meals too make a “BREAK MEAL”

Playing spades for Ramen Noodles and Tuna Packs

If you chose not to eat the correctional facilities dinner, then you typically went hungry for 14 hours until breakfast the next morning. The meals were so bad, that people started skipping dinner and starving or sneaking off too make “breaks” until breakfast the next morning.

So for my first food blog I was really wanting too start with the bad, the ugly, the reality of of some foods. but with creativeness literally ANYONE could make nothing into something no matter what was handed to you. Just make sure you get your right spices now. Whats a better way than starting out in good ole Prison cafeterias!? BUT, with age, hidden secrets, and recipes the inmates came up with after refusing too eat what the correctional facilities had too offer became a beauty of imagination with whatever snacks the inmates were able too get there hands on at the prison commissary or canteen which is a store within a correctional facility, from which inmates may purchase products such as hygiene items, snacks, writing instruments, etc. Inmates have all the time on there hands and are always buried in there mind which really creates a person in a special way, they begin too think different than the normal civilians in the real world because they don’t have what the outside grocery stores have too offer. To make “the spread”, or “the break” inmates would begin to break up ramen noodles and mix the spices in a trash bag, YES you heard it! A MOTHA TRUCKIN TRASH BAG!! Now, hopefully it was a clean and unused trash bag but hey you have to do what you have to do too survive in such a harsh environment. So then they toss anything into it the mixture. Canned tuna, hot sauce, salsa, Doritos flavored popcorn are common and essentially whatever you can keep in your cell or buy from the commissary is fair game too create your wonderful master piece. Now I’ve made plenty in my day with not even having the honor too spend one of those meals behind locked doors, but damn-it I’ve perfected these things since I was in the 6th grade with my cousins and buddies trying so many different ingredients. So I started with boiling the water for the ramen noodles, then grab a CLEAN Garbage bag, non scented and used scissors too cut the seem down too be able too open it up. Then we used some flaming hot Cheetos (crushed up), either tuna which is actually good or canned chicken, about two cans. Then began to chop up some Banana peppers, onion, little hot sauce, don’t forget that garlic salt and pepper ! Cook about two or three ramen noodle packs depending on the size of your group or if you just had the plain munchies. yup I know what y’all thinking now! Now drop all of your ingredients into the bag and fold that garbage bag up so it doesn’t spill and mix it, squish it, tickle it I don’t give a rats ass what you do cause once its mixed open that bag up and taste what prisons greatness tastes like! Hope Everyone enjoyed and comment what you think about the ” The Breaks”.
